WHAT WE DO

One Coordinated Path From Cargo Request to Delivery

SHIPRAI brings shipment information, pricing review and customer coordination together while qualified third-party carriers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, terminals, warehouses and delivery operators perform their contracted functions. We do not represent ourselves as the ocean vessel operator or customs authority.

Pallets, Crates & Cartons

Palletized products, packaged stock, boxed goods and consolidation inquiries, subject to packing and carrier rules.

Containerized Freight

20-foot and 40-foot container inquiries and shared-load arrangements where partner capacity exists.

Vehicles & Machinery

Cars, vans, machinery and commercial equipment with dimensions, title/export documents and carrier acceptance.

Construction & Trade Materials

Steel, building materials, machinery components and project supply; grade/specification and import restrictions reviewed.

Retail & Commercial Inventory

Wholesale, distribution and replenishment consignments needing sourcing-to-arrival coordination.

International Household Moves

Relocation freight planning with inventory, loading and destination-service requirements.

FROM RFQ TO MOVEMENT

How Freight Execution Is Coordinated

Every shipment advances through a controlled workflow. A quote request is not a confirmed carriage contract or freight booking.

01

Submit the cargo brief

Share route, commodity, quantities, weight, dimensions, ready date, shipment value and consignee details.

02

Verify the route

SHIPRAI checks shipment acceptability, operating partner coverage and equipment/capacity feasibility.

03

Review the written quote

Review freight basis, charges, exclusions, insurance options, estimated transit and responsible service providers.

04

Confirm booking and documents

After acceptance, finalize instructions and relevant documents with the shipper, importer and service providers.

05

Coordinate freight execution

Contracted carriers and facilities handle pickup, port movement, sea transport, customs work and delivery where booked.

06

Track milestones and close

SHIPRAI relays available milestones, addresses exceptions and captures completion details as provided by partners.

ACCOUNTABILITY

Who Is Responsible for Each Part of the Shipment?

SHIPRAI coordinates the agreed logistics workflow. The final quote or contract specifies which party performs each operational service and which costs are included.

01SHIPRAI

Receives the freight request, coordinates feasibility and pricing review, helps organize documentation and communicates agreed milestones.

02Carrier / ocean freight operator

Physically transports cargo under its applicable transport document, service contract and carriage conditions.

03Freight forwarder / terminal / warehouse

Provides any agreed consolidating, booking, handling, storage or transport arrangement within its actual scope.

04Customs broker

Handles customs declarations or clearance services when formally engaged and authorized; customs decisions remain with regulators.

05Shipper / exporter / importer

Provides accurate commodity classification, values and shipment information, required permits, applicable taxes and duties, and other responsibilities under agreed trade terms.

Important: SHIPRAI does not guarantee customs clearance, permits, insurance coverage, fixed arrival dates or a specific carrier. Dangerous, prohibited or restricted goods require separate acceptance and may be declined. The governing contract and carrier terms control liability and delivery obligations.

FREIGHT QUESTIONS

Frequently Asked Questions

Clear answers about carrier roles, quotes, customs, insurance, and developing shipping routes.

Does SHIPRAI operate its own ocean vessels?

SHIPRAI coordinates freight requests and the customer workflow with operating service providers. Ocean carriage is performed by contracted carriers or other designated operators, not represented as SHIPRAI-owned vessels.

Can I ship an entire container or a smaller consolidated load?

You may request full-container and shared-load options. Cargo acceptance, container size, loading plan and availability must be confirmed for the specific lane.

Are customs duties, insurance and local delivery included?

Only if explicitly stated in your approved quotation or contract. Duties, taxes, brokerage, insurance, terminal handling and last-mile charges may be separate.

What documents may be required?

Requirements vary by cargo and jurisdiction. Commercial invoices, packing lists, identification, export documents, bill of lading and permits or certificates may be needed. The responsible broker or authority confirms compliance.

What are the shipping times and rates?

Rates and estimated transit windows depend on the origin, destination, cargo profile, departure schedule and partner availability. SHIPRAI does not guarantee a sailing or delivery date until the relevant terms are confirmed.

Does SHIPRAI offer West Africa freight today?

West Africa trade corridors are being developed. You may submit an RFQ for a feasibility assessment; do not assume an established regular shipping service.
